PAINESVILLE, Ohio (WJW) -- Painesville police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide on Thursday evening in the city's Heisley Park development, according to a Friday news release from police.
Police conducting a welfare check at the home in the 600 block of Cherrywood Lane received no response at the door.
After gaining entry to the home they found 58-year-old Celija Vidović and 62-year-old Dragan Vidović, both of Painesville, dead of gunshot wounds, in what appeared to be a murder suicide, according to the release.
Painesville detectives and the Lake County coroner responded to the scene.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information on the deaths is urged to call Painesville police at 440-392-5840.
